Formaldehyde Technology for a Sustainable Future

Dynea's fasil® process technology utilises a highly efficient crystalline silver catalyst to produce formaldehyde in aqueous solution using methanol, water, and air as raw materials.

This innovative process is waste-free. No liquid effluent is generated, silver catalyst is fully recycled, and tail gas is combusted in a thermal oxidizer without additional fuel, generating steam for export. These features make the fasil® process a benchmark for sustainability, safety and efficiency.

Way of Working

At Dynea, we believe in flexibility. Our scope is tailored to your needs. This could be limited to basic engineering, supply of proprietary equipment, and support during commissioning and start-up.

Detail engineering is then done by an EPC contractor, with Dynea to review the design and non-proprietary equipment. Non-proprietary equipment can be sourced from your preferred local vendors, which enables easy maintenance and cost-effectiveness.

Alternatively, Dynea can offer a more comprehensive solution in cooperation with Pörner, our long-standing EPCM partner. The approach can be adjusted to meet your preferences and requirements, which ensures a smooth and successful project execution.
