Technical services for silver formaldehyde manufacturing
Dynea offers fasil® licensees a range of technical services related to silver catalyst formaldehyde manufacturing. This includes but is not limited to operational support, process optimization, feasibility studies for process modifications and revamps, operator training, technical studies, and analysis technology for formaldehyde solutions.
To those who are not yet a fasil® licensee, Dynea can offer a process design package or basic engineering for a new formaldehyde plant to be constructed. Dynea supports your engineering contractor during detail engineering and EPC with process specific knowledge.
For projects that still are at an early feasibility phase, Dynea can perform feasibility studies or a pre-PDP with a limited scope aimed at obtaining an AACE Class 4 cost estimate.
Process technology - Formaldehyde Production Monitoring
Since May 2022, a sensor has been installed at Dynea's formaldehyde plant in Lillestrøm, Norway. The sensor continuously measures the formaldehyde and methanol content in the product with high accuracy. The sensors reliability has been verified over a 3.5 years period, as has been approved as analysis method used for environmental reporting and GMP production.
