Controlling emissions to air, water and soil is critical for chemical plants. Our goal is to minimize the release of emissions to the environment in all operations, while maintaining efficient production. Being ISO 14001 certified, we are continuously improving our environmental performance.
Emissions Control & Improvement
Dynea monitors processes to measure emissions and improve performance. We have detailed monitoring programs for all environmental aspects, including emissions to air, water and soil. Measuring is done by the analytical laboratory and accredited third parties.
Compliance with Permits
Chemical manufacturing typically involves certain emissions, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and CO₂. Dynea operates under strict emission permits issued by the Norwegian Environment Agency and complies with all monitoring and reporting requirements.

Our goal is to ensure full regulatory compliance and to contribute to a cleaner, safer environment for our employees, neighbours, and local community.
Continuous improvement is both in our own interest and required under the Internal Control Regulations (Internkontrollforskriften) and the ISO standards with which we comply. Dynea therefore invests in technology development, preventive maintenance, and employee training to ensure stable operations and ongoing environmental improvements.
