Hot Melt adhesives
Hot Melt adhesives are classified as thermoplastic adhesives and are produced by combining synthetic binders and/or natural gums and waxes. Hot melts contain no solvents and are solid at room temperature. They melt upon heating and return to a solid state upon cooling.
Dynea manufacture a broad range of hot melt adhesives in Asia and Europe. The adhesives are designed for maximum performance with respect to the climate conditions in the different regions. Dynea’s hot melts are formulated to meet the different requirements in a wide variety of manufacturing applications, e.g. installation of flooring, tile and carpeting, ceiling panels, wall coverings, consumer goods, bonding of woven and non-woven fabrics, packaging, tapes and miscellaneous uses within the wood working industry.
The hot melts offered by Dynea are designed to be used with modern equipment running at extremely fast speeds. Thus they are formulated to give hot tack (short initial bonding time) and to be fast setting (short permanent bonding time).
