Acrylic Copolymer Dispersions (Adhesives)

Polymer dispersions for adhesives are classified as thermoplastic adhesives and are produced by emulsion polymerization of either acrylic monomers alone or together with special monomers (e.g. vinyl acetate, styrene, methacrylates), which may or may not contain reactive groups. The resulting dispersions are used for highly demanding pressure sensitive adhesives (e.g. labels, tapes, films), for lamination or for special adhesive applications in the building industry.

Dynea manufactures acrylic copolymer dispersions for adhesives in Europe for markets all over the world.

Dynea produces acrylic dispersions for adhesives with unique properties. For several applications, special products have been developed. DYNEA’s dispersions are based on our proprietory technology, which allows production of polymer dispersions with up to 69% of solid content.

All products are water-based and most of them are reduced in residual monomers in order to achieve a low level of VOC. Adhesives for floor covering comply with the EC1 standard.
