How we create value for our customers

For exterior applications Dynea offers weather-resistant phenolic or melamine resins, while for interior applications urea or urea-melamine resins are available.

Thanks to five decades of working closely with plywood manufacturers, machine producers, and research organizations, Dynea has gained a deep understanding of our customers' manufacturing processes. We have developed, in close cooperation with our customers, resins with improved properties or economics.

To compliment our wide range of resin technologies we have an extensive line of ready -to-use hardeners, which offers many advantages such as lower gluing cost, better prepress tack, and constant glue spread. The hardeners prevent penetration and dry-out and give, all in all, a better glue bond. This technology gives homogenous glue mix and can be used with different spreading methods - roller spreader, spray, liquid extruder, curtain coater and foam gluing - the best possible solution for your unique process conditions.

In the vast combination of different application methods, wood species and production circumstances, the role of our technical sales service is essential. They understand how the operational parameters at our customers' mills affect the adhesive formulation and glue performance, and combine the most suitable resin with the best possible filler-hardener to bring you state-of-the-art solutions that fulfil your performance and economic requirements.

Dynea can also help you plan your glue kitchen as well as deliver just the glue kitchen you need for efficient glue preparation. Phenolic surface films are a further product in Dynea's portfolio for the plywood industry.
