and in further processing of wood panels. Dynea offers manufacturers of high and low pressure laminates an array of specially designed phenolic, melamine and urea resins.

How we create value for our customers

Dynea is Europe’s leading supplier of phenolic resin for paper impregnation. Our product portfolio includes phenolic resins for HPL and CPL, for phenolic surface films and technical laminates. Resins for specialty laminates with properties like fire retardancy and post-forming are also available.

Our melamine based resins help producers of high pressure decorative laminates make clear, durable and functional laminating materials for wood panel overlays and other purposes. We also have melamine impregnation resins for short cycle, low pressure pressing.

Melamine and urea resins can be used for the impregnation of different kinds of papers, e.g. decor, overlay, corunded overlay, and backing paper. Phenolic resins are used for the impregnation of kraftpaper for core layers and phenolic surface films.

To provide a more realistic testing environment for new resins and applications, Dynea offers customers the use of its state-of-the-art pilot treater.
