We offer support in development of exposure scenarios, evaluation of actual exposure, modelling and scaling of specific scenarios.
Hazardous substances registered under REACH (>10 tons/y) require extended safety data sheets including exposure scenarios. The exposure scenario concept is one of the main innovations of the REACH Regulation and describes safe use of these substances. The extended safety data sheet summarises the key information from the chemical safety assessment included in the Reach registration.
After receiving an exposure scenario occupational users have to check that their own uses are covered and that they are working in line with recommended risk management measures. Information on the hazards, conditions of safe use and appropriate risk management advice has to be communicated further down the supply chain.
Exposure scenarios will also be required for mixtures containing hazardous substances. Dynea AS has developed several exposure scenarios for substances and we are in process of creating targeted exposure scenarios for our customers (typically end users).
We offer support in the development of exposure scenarios, evaluation of actual exposure, modelling and scaling of specific scenarios. We also offer support in the following areas:
Supply chain communication
Exposure scenario for communication
Downstream User (DU) chemical safety report
Exposure scenarios for resins and hardeners
