Dynea’s AsWood® adhesives set new standards in production of parquet and interior panels
Dynea’s AsWood® adhesive systems offer more than exceptionally low emission levels for producers of parquet and interior panels.
Improved process parameters for parquet manufacturing
In parquet production, using AsWood adhesive solutions allow the lowering of the pressing temperature by approximately 20°C without losing any performance characteristics such as bond quality or water resistance when compared to more traditional pressing parameters.
The reduction of pressing temperature has a positive effect on the quality of the final product due to less internal tension within the sandwich parquet (less warping) and less dry-out of face layers and backing veneers. A temperature reduction as such also has great effect on the energy consumption of a production line and could therefore result in noticeable production cost savings for the producer.
Interior wall panels with AsWood meet fire standard
AsWood adhesive systems are also well suited for production of fire resistant interior panels such as decorative or acoustic wall / ceiling panels, for example. The final products meet requirements according to the SS 02 48 23 (NT FIRE 004) standard, making them especially well suited for public buildings such as conference centres or concert halls.
AsWood adhesive solutions for interior wood applications can be used in the same way as traditional amino systems; they provide excellent cure speed and bond strength as well as glued products with very high moisture resistance. Consequently using Dynea’s AsWood solutions will not compromise the user’s production performance and reject rates.
AsWood® for healthier living
AsWood is Dynea’s line of low emission adhesives. Dynea’s proprietary AsWood adhesive solutions are currently available for form bending, solid wood lamination, flooring/parquet, veneering and board-on-frame as well as for select composite board applications. With emissions at the same low background level as from natural untreated wood, AsWood is the ideal adhesive solution for wood based products used in places where people are particularly sensitive to indoor air quality, such as kindergartens, schools, hospitals, homes and offices.
