Increased resins capacity - Dynea celebrates in Poland

Dynea, a leading provider of adhesion and surfacing solutions, has increased the resins capacity at its Polish plant, Dynea Sp.z.o.o in Trzemeszno. The plant produces adhesive resins mainly for the insulation wool industry.

The plant has been upgraded with new reactor installation and a new Delta V automation system. With the new reactors the plant’s annual capacity is nearly doubled.

This increased capacity is aimed mainly for the Polish markets, where mineral wool producers have increased their production capacities. Part of the new capacity in Trzemeszno will be used to support market entry into Ukraine mineral wool resins market. Dynea expects to see strong growth in the future in this region, where new capacity in the customer industry has been announced.

Plant Manager Andrzej Kubicki believes that despite the global financial crisis and general slowing down of the economy, the outlook is bright for the Trzemeszno plant. “We are looking optimistically to the future and we are budgeting sales growth in 2009. Today, the Trzemeszno plant with its highly improved capabilities can contribute even better to Dynea’s future development strategy.”

The inauguration of the two new reactors on November 6 also marked Dynea Sp.z.o.o’s ten-year anniversary. The special day was celebrated together with local authorities, customers, suppliers, cooperating companies and Dynea management and employees.

"Investing in the plant in Trzemeszno is in line with our strategy to grow in Eastern Europe. We see our customers expanding in this region and therefore we want to support them with high quality binders, close to them,” says Roger Carlstedt, President and CEO of Dynea. “The increased phenolic resins capacity will help Dynea Sp.z.o.o. meet the demands of its customers and serve them even faster and more efficiently than before.”
