Record result for Dynea in 2007

Helsinki, Finland, 13 March, 2008 – Dynea, the world-leading supplier of adhesion and surfacing solutions significantly improved its operating performance in all its main markets. Dynea is one of Finland’s most international enterprises with operations in more than twenty countries. In 2007, the turnover of Dynea increased to 888.0 million euro (+14%). This growth was facilitated by positive market conditions as well as improved competitiveness. Furthermore higher raw material prices lead to increased sales through the pass into sales prices. Dynea’s EBITDA improved to 68.6 million euro (+26%) and operating profit to 43.8 million euro (+36%). »

Dynea introduces AsWood

AsWood is Dynea's trademark for a new family of formaldehyde- based resins. It is a concept of reaching an emission level in industrial panel boards and wood based products that is the same level as the level found in solid wood. Dynea's AsWood range is a series of products currently in industrial use and continuous development. »

Dynea forms hot melt partnership with Durante

The Finnish adhesive resin producer Dynea and Italy's Durante & Vivan, have formed a joint-venture to produce and distribute hot melts in Asian markets, including China. The Shanghai based Durante Dynea Adhesive Co Ltd opened a manufacturing plant in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone on March 23rd.»
